First off, a huge thanks and heartfelt cyber-hug to Rachel Mclaughlin for nominating me. The fact that someone as new to the blogging community as I am even got a nomination is just so amazing and I’m so grateful!
And, just in case you have no idea what the ‘Versatility in Blogging’ award is, check it out on this site. It’s an awesome little activity and it really makes people’s day when they get nominated(trust me!)
So, now for the moment you’ve all been (hopefully) waiting for! Here’s seven random facts about me:
-
I love to cook, especially when I can bake treats for my friends.
-
My favorite hot tea is Earl Gray because it smells like redwood trees
-
The first word that I was ever able to read by myself was ‘food’
-
Even though I consider writing my passion, art is my true love
-
I enjoy writing and receiving letters, and often do things the ‘old-fashioned’ way so I can feel more connected to my actions
-
I’m addicted to videogames, particularly Final Fantasy and Civilization
-
I love to roller skate because it makes me feel like I’m playing Pac-Man and the other people are the ghosts
NOMINATIONS
Now, in the spirit of giving, I’ll be nominating the blogs that I find most interesting, unique, andβyou guessed itβversatile!
Chuck Wendig– The very first blog I ever started following and one of the most funny, unique blogs I’ve found to date.
Kelz– I’m not a huge follower of strictly personal blogs, but checking out Kelz’s blog is a really refreshing part of my day.
The Thinking Asexual– This is one of the most useful resource and advice pages for me as an aro-ace person. Unlike many sites, which focus on what that identity is, this blog focuses on how to go through life as an aro-ace person and has been invaluable to me.
Lisa Tiller– Lisa a lovely woman and her blog always reminds me to take some time out for myself. She’s a true inspiration π
The Ace Theist– Another refreshingly upfront blog about the realities of being ace. They discuss a variety of issues facing ace people and are another one of the blogs I check daily
So, those are my nominations! I really wish that I could nominate Rachel, but she’s already been nominated π
Thanks again and congratulations to all of the bloggers taking part in this award!

EARL GRAY TEA is my BEST FRIEND! Once a little vanilla cream is added to sweeten the deal, anyway.
And Civilization was my childhood. I never got into Civ 5 though.

That’s so awesome! For me, it’s plain hot tea with no sweetener lol Though I will occasionally add milk if I feel adventurous. Do you like bags or loose leaf? I’m a huge fan of loose leaf, personally!
I really love the first Civilization(also my childhood!), but right now I have 3 and I’ve been really addicted to that one since I can have a ‘forever’ game on it instead of it ending with the space mission π

Civ 3 was always my favorite too!!! I preferred archipelago with High Barbarians π
Depends on the tea. I have really good Moroccan Spice, Oolong (from my favorite Chinese restaurant), and Chamomile Mint loose leaf teas. I also have my favorite Earl Gray (Bigelow), Chai (Stash or Twinings), and some occasional Lemon, Mint, or assorted spice teas.

Ooh, I have the Twinings Chai tea! It’s delicious π I have to put honey in it though lol Chamomile Mint sounds lovely, I’ll have to look for it when I go to the store ^_^ What’s Moroccan Spice like?

I put vanilla in the Chai too π
Moroccan Spice is strong with cinnamon, and you steep it for 15-20 minutes. (cinnamon, organic orange peel, organic lemon balm, wood betony, organic rose hips, organic hibiscus) It’s lovely! And it’s excellent chilled in the summer, too π

I highly recommend Moroccan Spice. It’s Chartreuse’s most popular blend.
Ever put a cinnamon stick in a small pot of boiling water? BEST AIR FRESHENER EVER!
